Kremlin urges Israel, Iran to show restraint in standoff

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia calls on Israel and Iran to show restraint in their standoff and to resolve their differences by diplomatic means only, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a conference call with reporters on Thursday.

Earlier Israel said it had attacked nearly all of Iran’s military infrastructure in Syria after Iranian forces fired rockets overnight at Israeli-held territory for the first time.
