U.S. 'gravely alarmed' by reports of chlorine gas use by Syrian government

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States is “gravely alarmed” by reports the Syrian government has used chlorine gas in Idlib Province, the U.S. State Department said in a statement on Monday.

It also said the Russian government, by shielding the Syrian government from accountability, has “not lived up to its commitments.”
