MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov said on Wednesday that Turkey should pay compensation for shooting down a Russian military plane near the Turkish-Syrian border last month, the RIA news agency reported.

Meshkov said Turkey should also guarantee that a similar incident will not happen in future.
