Nigeria's Senate president says high chance will leave Buhari's ruling party

ABUJA (Reuters) - The president of Nigeria’s upper house of parliament on Tuesday said his chances of leaving President Muhammadu Buhari’s ruling party are “very, very high”.

Bukola Saraki - who as Senate President is the third most senior politician in the country - made the comments to Reuters hours after 15 senators from Buhari’s All Progressives Congress (APC) party defected.
