Nasdaq Commodities to raise margin requirements on EU contracts

OSLO (Reuters) - Nasdaq’s commodities market will raise margin requirements for trades in European Union derivatives allowance contracts following “recent market developments”, the company said in a statement on Monday.

Risk parametres for all commodity derivatives contracts will be updated based on a monthly review, Nasdaq said, with the first such update to become effective on Oct. 3.
