(Reuters) - Following are developments in the fighting in the Gaza Strip as of 2015 GMT:
*GAZA - Israel added reservists to the battlefield, a military spokesman said, suggesting a possible widening of the offensive.
*GAZA - Israeli forces pushed deeper into populous parts of Gaza, killing at least 31 Palestinians, medical workers said.
*GAZA - Israel bombs 60 targets in Gaza, including tunnels on the border with Egypt, the Israeli military spokesman said.
*GAZA - Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli tank fire east of the city of Gaza, medical workers said.
*GAZA - An Israeli air strike destroyed the home of longtime Gaza strongman and Hamas rival Mohammed Dahlan, witnesses said. Hamas took over his house after seizing control of Gaza in 2007.
*GOLAN HEIGHTS - Shots were fired from Syria at Israeli military engineers working on the frontier fence in territory Israel captured from Syria in the 1967 war. There were no casualties. Israel said the shooting was an isolated incident.
*SOUTHERN ISRAEL - The Israeli military said 20 rockets and mortars were fired at southern Israeli towns from Gaza, causing some damage and injuring two people.
GAZA - An Israeli air attack on a car on a coastal road killed two militants, medical workers said.
GAZA - Israeli artillery shelling of two villages in the southern Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian woman and set 15 houses on fire, medical workers and witnesses said. Some 50 people were treated for burns and gas inhalation, they said.
*GAZA/ISRAEL - The death toll in Gaza in the 16-day-old Israeli offensive reached 890, more than a third of them children, the Hamas-run Health Ministry said. Thirteen Israelis have been killed — 10 soldiers, and three civilians killed by Hamas rocket fire.
