Bristol relegated after defeat at London Irish

LONDON (Reuters) - Bristol were relegated from the English rugby Premiership after losing 38-21 at high-flying London Irish on Saturday.

Second-bottom Worcester’s 22-8 win over Saracens sealed Bristol’s fate with two games remaining.

Bristol, who have won only two of their 20 games this season, parted company with coach Richard Hill, who brought them up from the first division four years ago, in February but new boss Paul Hull was unable to turn things round.
