CAIRO (Reuters) - Islamic State said that its militants were responsible for a series of attacks against police targets in the Russian region of Chechnya, its Amaq news agency said on Monday, without citing evidence for the claim.

Amaq said its militants had attacked police officers in the areas of Shalinsky, Mesker-Yurt, and Grozny, but did not provide further details.
