Britons among those killed in Sri Lanka attacks - UK Foreign Office

LONDON (Reuters) - British nationals were among the more than 200 people killed in the Easter Sunday attacks in Sri Lanka, Britain’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office said.

British officials were supporting the relatives of the victims and were continuing to work with the relevant authorities to obtain further information, a spokeswoman said.

Earlier on Sunday the Press Association reported that three Britons and two individuals holding joint United States and British citizenship were killed in the attacks.
