Sudanese opposition says it is suspending civil disobedience and strike - statement

KHARTOUM (Reuters) - Sudan’s protest and opposition alliance said it is suspending a campaign of civil disobedience and a general strike from Wednesday until further notice.

The strike had brought much activity in the capital Khartoum to a standstill as the Declaration of Freedom and Change Forces (DFCF) alliance tried to pressure Sudan’s ruling military council to relinquish power.
