(Reuters) - Sudan’s president Omar al-Bashir said on Sunday that oil would be pumped from South Sudan’s Wahda region to Sudan beginning September 1.

Bashir’s remarks came just after the South Sudan government signed a final peace deal with its main rebel group brokered by Sudan.
