BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Talks between the European Union and Switzerland on a new treaty on their relations remain “difficult”, a Commission spokeswoman said on Wednesday, after the Swiss government announced limited progress in the negotiations.
“We take not of today’s discussions. We are not negotiating via the media. Negotiations will continue next week and they will remain difficult,” the spokeswoman said in an emailed statement.
