Tunisia labour union demands increase of minimum wage - state news agency

TUNIS (Reuters) - Tunisia’s powerful UGTT labour union called on the government to raise the minimum wage and aid for poor families within one week, the state news agency TAP quoted the union chief as saying on Tuesday.

Nourredine Taboubi spoke as protests against austerity measures continued in several towns across Tunisia.
