German finance ministry asked for information, documents, Ziraat Bank says

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Germany’s finance ministry has requested documents and information from the local arm of Turkey’s Ziraat Bank TCZIR.UL, as part of a tax inspection into some individuals, the banks said on Thursday.

In a statement, the lender said there was no investigation into its business.
