Trump, Erdogan speak, express concern over Ukraine vessels

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday and discussed Russia’s seizure of Ukrainian vessels near Crimea, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said.

“The president spoke with President Erdogan by phone today. The two leaders expressed deep concern about the incident in the Kerch Strait and the continued detainment of Ukraine’s vessels and crew members,” Sanders said in a statement.
