KIEV (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Thursday that he was indifferent to investigations into gas company Burisma, which had Hunter Biden, the son of leading Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden, on its board.
Ukraine’s top prosecutor has reviewed 15 cases linked to Burisma’s founder but has said he was not aware of any evidence against Hunter Biden. Opponents of U.S. president Donald Trump accused him of pressuring Zelenskiy to investigate Joe Biden during their phone call in July.
“I don’t care what happens to this case,” Zelenskiy said in response to a question about the investigation.
