U.S. senators discuss adding $1.6 bln for border security to funding bill - aide

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senate negotiators are discussing a proposal for a government funding bill that would include $1.6 billion for border security and retain disaster aid that had been added in a measure approved by the House of Representatives, a Republican Senate aide said on Friday.
