(Reuters) - Chinese Vice Premier Liu He said on Friday that trade talks with the United States went “fairly well”, Bloomberg reported.

Earlier in the day, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had described the negotiations as “constructive”.

Negotiators from the United States and China held their latest round of talks in the U.S. Trade Representative’s office in an attempt to end a months-long trade dispute.
