Former Trump lawyer Cohen says used Senate panel testimony to 'clear the record'

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen said on Tuesday after a lengthy hearing before the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee that he appreciated the opportunity to set the record straight.

“At this point in time I really appreciate the opportunity that was given to me to clear the record and to tell the truth, and I look forward to tomorrow to being able ... in my voice to tell the American people my story and I’m going to let the American people decide exactly who’s telling the truth,” Cohen told reporters after the hearing.
