U.S. discuss Yemen with U.N. and Britain, Saudi, Oman, UAE counterparts

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Top diplomats from the United States, Britain, Saudi Arabia, Oman and United Arab Emirates as well as a United Nations special envoy met on Thursday to discuss the crisis in Yemen, the U.S. State Department said in a statement.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, at the meeting, said the United States continued to support the UN-led process “and noted the urgent need for the unfettered delivery of humanitarian assistance throughout Yemen.”
