BEIJING (Reuters) - China is confident that its economy will maintain steady and good momentum in 2018, a spokesman for the country’s state planner said on Monday after the world’s second-largest economy reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter growth.

Yan Pengcheng also said China will push for more medium to long-term natural gas contracts.
