IMF expects Congo's economy to grow 4.5% in 2019, 3.2% in 2020

DAKAR (Reuters) - The International Monetary Fund on Friday revised up its forecast for economic growth this year in Democratic Republic of Congo to 4.5% from a previous estimate of 4.3%, but said growth would fall in 2020 to 3.2%.

Congo’s economy grew by 5.8% in 2018 and the central bank expects 4.6% growth this year.
