PARIS (Reuters) - France is to introduce restrictions on movement starting from midday (1100 GMT) on Tuesday, and for 15 days, to try to curb the spread of coronavirus, French President Emmanuel Macron said in a televised address to the nation.

Macron said people should stay at home and only go out for essential activities. He said that anyone flouting the restrictions would be punished.
