Ukraine registers record for new COVID-19 cases: minister

KYIV (Reuters) - Ukraine registered a record 11,057 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, its health minister said on Thursday, up from a high of 10,746 reported on Nov. 7.

Maksym Stepanov said the new cases had taken the total confirmed infections to 500,865, with 9,145 deaths.

He also said 198 new deaths had been reported in the past 24 hours.
