Irish residential property slows in May

DUBLIN (Reuters) - Irish house prices grew 12.4 percent in the year to May, down from 13.5 percent in the year to April as Central Bank rules limit leverage levels.

The Irish Central bank limits mortgages at 3.5 times income.

Month on month, house prices rose by 0.6 percent, down from growth of 1.1 percent in April, the Central Statistics Office said.
