Italy to go 'carefully' ahead with budget plans: junior minister

ROME (Reuters) - Italy’s populist coalition government will go ahead with its budget plans despite the threat of a sovereign rating downgrade this month, a junior minister said on Thursday.

“There will be no U-turn. We go ahead, driving carefully,” Armando Siri, junior minister for Infrastructure said in a radio interview.
