Plan to buy Lotos without impact on PKN's role in nuclear project: minister

WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland’s biggest refiner PKN Orlen announcement to take over smaller rival Lotos will likely have no impact on PKN’s plan to join the country’s nuclear power plant project, the Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski said on Tuesday.

“I think it does not clash,” Tchorzewski told reporters when asked whether taking over Lotos would prevent PKN from joining the nuclear power plant project.
