Murphy Oil says no plans to shutter Gulf operations ahead of Harvey

HOUSTON (Reuters) - Murphy Oil Corp said on Thursday it was actively monitoring the path of Hurricane Harvey, but so far has no plans to shutter operations in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

“Based on the current location and path of the storm, we do not have plans to shut-in operated production in the Gulf of Mexico,” spokeswoman Kelly Whitley said.
