SEC says working to ensure investors in Harvey-affected areas can access accounts

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said on Wednesday it would work with firms in areas affected by Tropical Storm Harvey to ensure investors continued to have access to their securities accounts.

In a statement, the agency also said it was considering granting relief from filing deadlines and other regulatory requirements for those affected by the storm.
