OSLO (Reuters) - Telenor CEO Sigve Brekke met with the CEO, CFO and Chairman of DNA in Helsinki on Tuesday soon after its acquisition of a 54-percent stake in the Finnish mobile operator was announced, Brekke said on Tuesday.

“They were not very surprised,” Brekke told Reuters in a phone interview. “There had been expectations that, sooner or later, the two main shareholders may want to exit.”

When asked whether Telenor would want to keep CEO Jukka Leinonen at the helm, Brekke said that “the DNA management is very capable and has done a very good job”.
