U.S. wants 'structural remedies' for approval of AT&T's purchase of Time Warner: source

(Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Justice is pushing AT&T Inc (T.N) for “structural remedies” in order to satisfy antitrust concerns over its purchase of Time Warner Inc TWX.N, a source told Reuters on Wednesday.

Structural remedies generally involve the sale of assets or creation of new competitors through licensing of intellectual property.
