Atlanta Fed cuts U.S. first quarter GDP view to 3.2 percent

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S. economy is on track to grow at a 3.2 percent annualized rate in the first quarter following the release of the government’s January reports on retail sales and consumer prices, the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model showed on Wednesday.

The latest estimate on gross domestic product was slower than the 4.0 percent growth pace calculated on Feb. 9, the Atlanta Fed said.
