U.S. 10-year notes sold at lowest yield in a year

NEW YORK, Jan 9 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department on Wednesday sold $24 billion of 10-year government notes at a yield of 2.728 percent, the lowest at an auction of the debt maturity since January 2018, Treasury data showed.

The ratio of bids to the amount of debt offered was 2.51, compared with 2.35 at the previous 10-year note auction in December. (Reporting by Richard Leong Editing by Tom Brown)
