U.S. 7-year note sold at lowest yield since October

NEW YORK, Aug 29 (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department on Tuesday sold $28 billion worth of seven-year government debt at a yield of 1.941 percent, the lowest since October, due to strong investor demand, Treasury data showed.

Indirect bidders which include fund managers and foreign central banks purchased 68.80 percent of the latest seven-year note offering, which was their biggest share since the record high 81.69 percent in April. (Reporting by Richard Leong; Editing by Chris Reese)
