Nebraska loads first beef shipment to China under new trade deal

CHICAGO, June 14 (Reuters) - A meat company in Nebraska on Wednesday loaded the state’s first shipment of beef to China under a new U.S. trade agreement with Beijing, state officials said, just two days after Washington finalized details to resume U.S. exports after a 14-year ban.

China banned imports of U.S. beef in 2003 after a U.S. scare over mad cow disease.
