Trump urges House Republicans to back U.S. government spending deal

WASHINGTON, July 25 (Reuters) - Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives should vote for a two-year deal to fund the federal government and extend the nation’s borrowing authority, President Donald Trump said on Thursday before a vote on the agreement.

“House Republicans should support the TWO YEAR BUDGET AGREEMENT which greatly helps our Military and our Vets. I am totally with you!” Trump wrote on Twitter.
