US alleges FleetCor charged hundreds of millions in hidden fees

WASHINGTON, Dec 20 (Reuters) - The fuel card company FleetCor allegedly charged customers hundreds of millions in hidden fees after promising to help them spend less on fuel, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission said on Friday.

In a court filing, the FTC asked a judge to stop FleetCor and its CEO, Ronald Clarke, from charging hidden fees and to disgorge ill-gotten gains.
