Dec 5 (Reuters) - Statoil Asa ::STATOIL: SUBMITTING PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION, AND AWARDING JOHAN CASTBERG CONTRACTS - SUBMITTING PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION, AND AWARDING JOHAN CASTBERG CONTRACTS - STATOIL.COM.‍RECOVERABLE RESOURCES ARE ESTIMATED AT 450-650 MILLION BARRELS OF OIL EQUIVALENT​.‍THIS MAKES JOHAN CASTBERG PROJECT BIGGEST OFFSHORE OIL AND GAS DEVELOPMENT TO BE GIVEN GO-AHEAD IN 2017.
