Aug 1 (Reuters) - WARSAW STOCK EXCHANGE (WSE) ::SAID ON TUESDAY THAT Q2 NET PROFIT WAS 79.1 MILLION ZLOTYS VERSUS 41.9 MILLION ZLOTYS YEAR AGO.Q2 REVENUE 86.6 MILLION ZLOTYS VERSUS 87.6 MILLION ZLOTYS YEAR AGO.H1 NET PROFIT WAS 107.6 MILLION ZLOTYS, UP BY 54.4 YEAR ON YEAR.THE INCREASE IN H1 NET PROFIT WAS DRIVEN BY AN INCREASE OF NET FINANCIAL INCOME BY 47.1 MILLION ZLOTYS, LARGELY DUE TO THE SALE OF THE ASSOCIATE AQUIS AND LOWER FINANCIAL EXPENSES.  Full Article

Poland expects new pension scheme to boost its bourse

WARSAW, Aug 29 Poland's stock exchange may get a capital boost of at least 12 billion zlotys ($3.5 billion) a year from a new pension scheme approved by the government this week, state-run investment vehicle PFR said on Wednesday.
