April 10 (Reuters) - Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC ::TRENT 1000 TEN SERVICE MANAGEMENT.ROLLS-ROYCE AGREES ACCELERATED INSPECTION REGIME WITH EASA.AGREES ACCELERATED INSPECTION REGIME WITH EASA.NEW ACCELERATED INSPECTION REGIME IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW US TO CONFIRM HEALTH OF TRENT 1000 TEN FLEET OVER NEXT FEW MONTHS.ACCELERATED INSPECTION REGIME HAS NOW BEEN AGREED AND WILL BE FORMALLY COMMUNICATED TO CUSTOMERS.AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE WILL BE ISSUED BY EASA IN ADDITION TO A ROLLS-ROYCE SERVICE BULLETIN.GUIDANCE FOR IN-SERVICE CASH COSTS ON TRENT 1000 IN 2019 AND 2020, AS PUBLISHED WITH 2018 RESULTS ON 28 FEBRUARY 2019, REMAINS UNCHANGED.EXPECT TO START INCORPORATING ENHANCED BLADES INTO TRENT 1000 TEN FLEET IN EARLY 2020.SINCE ENTRY INTO SERVICE OF TRENT 1000 TEN, CO HAS COMMUNICATED TO AIRLINES THAT HPT BLADES IN THESE ENGINES WOULD HAVE A REDUCED LIFE.NEW INSPECTION REGIME HAS NO IMPACT ON ONGOING PROACTIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAMMES FOR TRENT 1000 PACKAGE B OR PACKAGE C ENGINES.ENGINEERS HAVE ALREADY BEEN DEVELOPING, AND ARE CURRENTLY TESTING, AN ENHANCED VERSION OF BLADE.
