Garden tools maker Husqvarna hit by weak U.S. retail market

STOCKHOLM Gardening machinery group Husqvarna said on Tuesday it will restructure its struggling Consumer Brands division, which makes petrol lawnmowers and garden tractors, after it slumped to a loss in the second quarter on a weak retail market in the United States.

STOCKHOLM, July 17 Husqvarna, the world's biggest maker of outdoor power tools such as lawn mowers and trimmers, posted on Tuesday an unexpected drop in operating profit for it's most important quarter as its Consumer Brands unit swung into a loss.
