Name Description

Amit Jain

Mr. Amit Jain has been re-designated as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of the Company effective 15th August, 2017. He is currently serves as Non-Executive Director of the Akzo Nobel India Limited., with effective January 2, 2014. He is directly responsible for steering and overseeing all of AkzoNobel’s businesses in India and South Asia, including developing and providing a strategic direction to its wide-ranging portfolio of paints and coatings as well as specialty chemicals. Amit commenced his career with the ICI India paints business and managed its diverse responsibilities in sales & marketing between the years, 1987 & 1994. He returned to AkzoNobel in 2009 to assume his current role. With over 25 years of multi-function management experience, Amit has been deeply involved with building teams and growing businesses. Prior to assuming his role at AkzoNobel, he was the Executive Vice-President & Managing Director of MTV Networks - South East Asia, India and China and responsible for the growth of MTVN businesses across Asian markets. Before joining MTV, he worked with Coca-Cola for 12 years, in leadership roles across South East Asia & India. Amit holds a management degree from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, and an Advanced Management Program from the Wharton Business School.

Mr. Rajasekaran Guha is Compliance Officer, Whole time Director , Company Secretary of the Company. Mr Guha is a finance and corporate professional and has qualifications on Chartered Accountancy, Management Accountancy and Corporate Secretary-ship, after graduating from the University of Madras. Mr Guha joined the company in 1983 as a campus recruit and has handled all aspects of finance, control and governance functions ·in a career spanning over three decades with the company. Mr Guha has demonstrated well rounded skills at different stages of his career, in areas of for cost and working capital control and Indirect tax management and Corporate 'faxation. 1-lis present role in the company is that of Company Secretary and General ManagerCorporate Affairs encompassing responsibility for corporate governance processes, Investor relations, CSR, Risk Management and Corporate Treasury, besides wide-ranging expertise and experience in Corporate M&A.

Jayakumar Krishnaswamy

Mr. Jayakumar Krishnaswamy is no longer Managing Director of the Akzo Nobel India Limited., with effect from 12 September 2018. He is responsible for steering and overseeing all AkzoNobel’s businesses in India. Jayakumar is a mechanical engineer from the Delhi College of Engineering and has over 26 years’ experience across the automotive and engineering sectors as well as the FMCG and cement industries. He has previously worked with companies like Hinudstan Unilever, Lafarge India, Brakes India and Eicher Motors.

Mr. Raj S. Kapur joined as Non-Executive Director of the Akzo Nobel India Limited on 3rd March 2014. He is a Chemical Engineer from IIT, Kanpur and a Master in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) from the Central Michigan University, USA. He also holds a Masters degree in Polymer Engineering from Case Western University, USA. Raj’s career spans almost 40 years of which around 35 years were spent with Dow Corning. He is the founder-owner of Country Strategy Business Consultants, advising companies on their geographic expansion and market development strategies.

Kimsuka Narsimhan

Ms. Kimsuka Narsimhan joined the Board of Akzo Nobel India Limited as a Non-Executive Director in January 2015. Ms Narsimhan is a chartered accountant and a cost accountant. She is Senior Vice- President, Finance and CFO, PepsiCo, India. She has also been the CFO of the foods business, followed by the role of Head of Planning at the divisional headquarters in Dubai. Prior to PepsiCo, Ms. Narsimhan worked with the Unilever Group for 18 years. She actively participates in women’s professional and leadership initiatives, including co-leading the Diversity and Inclusion Council in PepsiCo.

Arvind Uppal

Mr. Arvind Uppal is a Non-Executive Independent Director of Akzo Nobel India Limited since April 2011. He is a Chemical Engineer from IIT, Delhi and a Masters in Business Administration from the Faculty of Management Studies, New Delhi. He has also attended a Program for Executive Development at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland. Arvind is currently President, Whirlpool Asia Pacific and Chairman and Managing Director, Whirlpool India. He has worked with Nestle for over 18 years, having joined that company as a management trainee in 1987. He is also an Independent Director on the Board of Tuscan Capital, a venture capital company.
