Name Description

Sigurd Thorvildsen

Mr. Sigurd E. Thorvildsen has served as Non-Executive Chairman of Awilco Drilling PLC since December 30, 2009. Mr. Thorvildsen is the CEO of the Awilhelmsen Group of companies. He has more than 20 years of experience from the Shipping and Offshore industry. Mr. Thorvildsen has previously held several senior positions, among them the position as CEO of Awilco AS, the Chairman of the Board of Awilco Offshore ASA and Awilco Heavy Transport ASA (later Ocean HeavyLift ASA). He holds an MBA from the Norwegian School of Management.

Jens Berge

Mr. Jens Berge has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at AWILCO DRILLING PLC effective as of June 4, 2019 at the latest. He has served as Chief Operating Officer at Prosafe SE since November 2017. Previously, he worked at A.P. Moeller Maersk/MaerskDrilling, where he started in 2002 and latest served as Vice President until 2017. Jens Berge holds a double MBA from Columbia Business School, New York, and London Business School. He also has a nautical education from Stavanger Offshore Technical Academy.

Ian Wilson

Mr. Ian Wilson has served as Chief Financial Officer of Awilco Drilling PLC since 2012. Before that, he has been Finance Director at the Company. Mr Wilson has more than 25 years of experience in the drilling industry and has held several key positions most recently as Director - Finance and Administration for ENSCO's European and African operation. He has experience in international and domestic operations and has worked in many different geographic jurisdictions. Mr Wilson is a Chartered Accountant.

Roddy Smith

Mr. Roddy Smith has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Awilco Drilling PLC effective as of no later than June 4, 2019. He has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company for a period from March 8, 2019 till June 4, 2019 at the latest. He has previously been Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Smith has more than 25 years experience in the offshore and marine industries. During this time he has held a range of senior operational, management and development positions, most recently as Director QHSE at Northern Offshore Ltd. Mr. Smith holds a license as a Master Mariner.

Claus Morch

Mr. Claus Morch serves as Technical Advisor of Awilco Drilling PLC. Mr. Morch has more than 35 years of experience from various newbuilding and conversion projects and from operation of rigs, ships and other shipping and offshore vessels. He held the position as Technical Director in Awilco Offshore ASA.

Gary Holman

Mr. Gary Holman is Operations Director of Awilco Drilling PLC. Mr. Holman has 30 years of experience in the drilling industry and has held several senior operational positions, most recently as Country Manager for Archer AS. His experience includes mobile and platform drilling operations and rig projects, in both domestic and international environments.

Jan Usland

Mr. Jan Borge Usland serves as Commercial Advisor of Awilco Drilling PLC. Mr. Usland previously held the position as Director Business Development in Awilco Offshore ASA, where he had the overall responsibility for the follow-up and development of Premium Drilling. Mr Usland has more than 25 years of experience from the offshore industry (previously held the position as marketing manager with an international drilling contractor, responsible for UK).

Henrik Fougner

Mr. Henrik Fougner has been Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Awilco Drilling PLC since January 6, 2010. Mr. Fougner is the COO of the Awilhelmsen Group. He has more than 20 years of experience from the Shipping, Offshore and Banking industry both in Norway and internationally. Mr. Fougner has previously held several senior positions, among them the position as CEO of Awilco Offshore ASA and CFO of Awilco AS. He holds an MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

Daniel Gold

Mr. Daniel A. Gold has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Awilco Drilling PLC since November 30, 2010. Mr. Gold is the CEO of QVT Financial LP, an asset management company with offices including New York, London, Singapore, and New Delhi. QVT Financial, through its managed funds, is an experienced global investor in the shipping and offshore industries. Mr. Gold holds an AB in Physics from Harvard College.

John Simpson

Mr. John N. Simpson has served as Non-Executive Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Awilco Drilling PLC since April 13, 2011. Mr. Simpson has over 30 years experience in banking and in shipping finance. Currently he is an Executive Director of Marine Capital Limited, a shipping investment management company. He also has a number of non-executive roles in the UK, including as Chairman of Sovereign Housing Group. Previously Mr Simpson was CEO of Den norske Bank (now DnB NOR) in London and Regional Director of DnB's Asia -Pacific operations. Mr Simpson is authorized by the UK FSA. He holds an MSc from the London Business School and a BSc from the University of Southampton.

Synne Syrrist

Ms. Synne Syrrist has served as Non-Executive Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Awilco Drilling PLC since April 13, 2011. Mrs. Syrrist has work experience as an independent consultant to Norwegian companies, and as financial analyst in Elcon Securities ASA and First Securities ASA. She also has non-executive experience from both listed and private companies. She holds a Master of Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology.
