Name Description

Anne Tanum

Ms. Anne Carine Tanum has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of DNB ASA (formerly DnB NOR ASA) since June 18, 2008. She has been Member of the Company’s Board since 1999. She is Chairman of the Company's Compensation Committee. She has also been Chairman of the Board of DNB Bank since 2008. She also chairs the Board of Directors of Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, E-CO Energi Holding AS, E-CO Energi AS and Nordisk Film Kino AS, we well as serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Oslo University Hospital and Board Member at Cappelen Damm AS, Try AS, Europris AS and the Abel Prize. Formerly, she was Chairman of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), Vice Chairman of the Norwegian National Opera, and a long-standing Managing Director and Owner of Tanum AS. She also served as Board Member in DnB Holding, Den norske Bank and Vital Forsikring. Ms. Tanum holds a degree in Law from Universitetet i Oslo.

Rune Bjerke

Mr. Rune Bjerke has been Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DNB ASA (formerly DnB NOR ASA) since January 1, 2007. He was formerly President and CEO of Hafslund ASA and has held a number of board positions. He was also President and CEO of Scancem International. In the past, he also served as Finance Commissioner of the Oslo City Council and as Political Advisor in Norway's Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. He holds a degree in Economics from Universitetet i Oslo and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.

Tore Rimmereid

Mr. Tore Olaf Rimmereid has been Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of DNB ASA (formerly DnB NOR ASA) since June 12, 2012. He chairs the Company’s Audit and Risk Management Committees and is Member of the Compensation Committee. He has been Independent Member of the Company's Board since 2009 and formerly served as Member of the Board of DnB Bank. Mr. Rimmereid has been President and Chief Executive Officer of E-CO Energi AS. Previously, he was Head of the Finance and Administration Department in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) and Group Executive Vice President, Financial Reporting and Finance, in the SpareBank 1Alliance. He also has experience from Kreditkassen. He has held various positions in Christiania Bank. Mr. Rimmereid is Political Advisor for the Conservative Party’s parliamentary group. He chairs the Boards of Oslo Lysverker and Opplandskraft DA and is former chairman of Energy Norway. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is Authorized Financial Analyst from the Norwegian School of Economics.

Kjerstin Braathen

Ms. Kjerstin R. Braathen has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at DNB ASA, effective as of March 1, 2017. She served as Group Executive Vice President Corporate Banking Norway at the Company from January 14, 2013 until September 26, 2017. She was previously Head of DNB Shipping, Offshore and Logistics (SOL) in Oslo, Norway. She has many years of experience as Relationship Manager and Senior Relationship Manager in SOL. She joined the Company in 1999 from Hydro Agri International. Ms. Braathen holds a Master in Management degree from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Nice-Sophia Antipolis.

Solveig Hellebust

Ms. Solveig Hellebust has been Group Executive Vice President, People & Operations at DNB ASA since December 11, 2017. She has previously been Group Executive Vice President Human Resources (HR) at DNB ASA (formerly DnB NOR ASA) since April 1, 2009. Before this, she held the position of Vice President of Human Resources and Communications at Pronova BiaPharma ASA. Her prior professional experience also includes several years at Telenor (corporate staff HR) and at BI Norwegian School of Management as Associate Professor in Economics. She holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois, a Master of Science degree in Business and Economics from Handelshoyskolen BI and a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in International Economics from Universitetet for miljo- og biovitenskap - UMB.

Thomas Midteide

Mr. Thomas Midteide has served as Group Executive Vice President, Media & Marketing at DNB ASA since December 11, 2017. He has previously been Group Executive Vice President Corporate Communications at DNB ASA since January 14, 2013. He was previously Executive Vice President, External Communication. He joined DNB in 2009, leaving his position as Head of Communications in SAS Norge. In the past, he also served as Communications Officer at VISA Norway and as a TV reporter and presenter in NRK (the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). Mr. Midteide graduated in Journalism from Hogskolen i Oslo and has studied political science and criminology at Universitetet i Oslo.

Trond Bentestuen

Mr. Trond Bentestuen has served as Group Executive Vice President, Wealth Management & Insurance at DNB ASA since December 11, 2017. He has previously served as Group Executive Vice President Personal Banking at DNB ASA since January 14, 2013. He joined the Company in 2008. He was Head of Marketing, Communications and eBusiness from 2010 and was later on appointed Group Executive Vice President of the business area on July 1, 2011. Prior to that, he was Head of Marketing and Communications at Expert. Earlier in his career, he worked as Press Officer and Communications Advisor for Telenor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from Temple University, and received training from the Armed Forces.

Ottar Ertzeid

Mr. Ottar Ertzeid has been Group Executive Vice President Markets at DNB ASA (formerly DnB NOR ASA) since 2003. Prior to the Company’s merger with Gjensidige NOR in 2003, he was Head and Deputy Head of DnB Markets. He also held various positions within the FX/Treasury area in DnB. Apart from this, his prior professional experience includes the position of Chief Financial Officer of DnB Boligkreditt, and Head of Finance of Realkreditt. He has been Board chairman in the Norwegian Banks' Guarantee Fund, board vice chairman in the Norwegian Investor Compensation Scheme, board member in Oslo Bors VPS Holding and Oslo Bors AS, among others. He joined DNB in 1989. He graduated from Handelshoyskolen BI.

Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer

Ms. Benedicte Elisabeth Schilbred Fasmer has served as Group Executive Vice President Corporate Banking at DNB ASA since September 26, 2016. Fasmer has previously been responsible for DNB's operations in Bergen and the Western Norway division in Corporate Banking Norway. She joined the Company in 2015. She previously held senior executive positions in, among others, Argentum Asset Management, Rieber & Son, Citibank and Sparebanken Vest. Fasmer is also board chairman in Oslo Bors VPS Holding and Oslo Bors ASA. She has many years of experience from board positions in various industries. She is a graduate of Norwegian School of Economics.

Harald Serck-Hanssen

Mr. Harald Serck-Hanssen has served as Group Executive Vice President Large Corporates and International at DNB ASA, since January 14, 2013. He was previously Head of Shipping, Offshore and Logistics (SOL) at the Company since 2008. He joined the Company in 1998 and has held several positions as head of department in SOL. He has also experience from Stolt-Nielsen Shipping and Odfjell Group. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Business Studies from University of Stirling. Mr. Serck-Hanssen has also completed Advanced Management Program at INSEAD Fontainebleau.

Karl-Christian Agerup

Mr. Karl-Christian Agerup has served as Member of the Board of Directors of DNB ASA since April 25, 2017. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and a Master of Science degree n Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been Chief Executive Officer of Oslotech AS. He founded and was Partner of Northzone Ventures, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hugin ASA and has experience as Project Manager at McKinsey. He serves as Member of the Board of Zalaris ASA, Admincontrol AS, Startuplab AS and Nevion Europe AS, among others.

Carl Lovvik

Mr. Carl A. Lovvik has served as Employee Representative on the Board of Directors of DNB ASA since June 16, 2011. He was employed as Insurance Agent in 1988 and has worked within marketing in DNB Livsforsikring and as Manager at DNB Livsforsikring’s Customer Service Center.

Vigdis Mathisen

Ms. Vigdis Mathisen has been Employee Representative on the Board of Directors of DNB ASA since June 12, 2012. She has also been Employee Representative on the Board of DNB Bank since 2012. She joined the DNB group in 1983 and was elected its Chief Employee Representative for the Group in the Finance Sector Union DNB in 2012. She was previously Board Member for five years in Den norske Bank and DnB Holding. Ms. Mathisen is a Business graduate from Handelshoyskolen BI (BI School of Management), where she also attended several courses in Management.

Jarle Bergo

Mr. Jarle Bergo has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of DNB ASA since June 16, 2011. He is also Member of the Company’s Audit and Risk Management Committees. Additionally, since 2011 he holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the Board of DNB Bank. He previously held various positions in Norges Bank from the late 1960s and ended his career as Deputy Governor in 2008. He was alternate Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) until year-end 2010. Previously, he also served as Business Manager for the Norwegian Banks’ Guarantee Fund and a Member of the Board of Directors of Oslo Bors (the Oslo Stock Exchange). He was Member of various committees and expert groups, including the Council of Ethics for the Government Pension Fund – Global in 2002. Mr. Bergo holds an Economics degree from the University of Oslo (Universitetet i Oslo).

Jaan Semlitsch

Mr. Jaan Ivar Semlitsch has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of DNB ASA since June 18, 2014. He is also Member of the Audit Committee and the Risk Management Committee of the Company. He is a graduate of the Norwegian School of Economics. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer in Elkjop Nordic AS. He is Former Chief Operating Officer of Statoil ASA – Retail Europe and CEO of Plantasjen ASA and Rema Industrier AS. In addition, he is former and current board chairman and board member in several Norwegian enterprises. He is Chairman of the Board of Elkjop Norge AS and Lefdal Elektromarked AS, and former chairman of the Board of Statoil Norge AS.

Berit Svendsen

Ms. Berit Svendsen has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of DNB ASA since June 12, 2012. She also serves as Member of the Compensation Committee, Audit Committee and the Risk Management Committee of the Company. She formerly held a Board Member position at DNB Bank (2010-2012). She is Board Member in SAS and Bisnode AB. Ms. Svendson has been Executive Vice President at Telenor and Telenor Scandinavia and CEO of Telenor Norway. She joined the company in 1988 as a research scientist. From 2000 to 2005, she was Chief Technology Officer and Member of the Group Management Team as well as a working Chairman of Telenor Research and Development. In 2005, she was appointed Head of Telenor’s fixed network business in Norway, and from 2008 to 2011, served as Chief Executive Officer of Conax. Ms. Svendson was previously Board Chairman at Data Respons ASA and Board Member at Ekornes ASA and EMGS. In addition, she served as Member of the European Commission Advisory Group on ICT matters. Ms. Svendsen is a graduate engineer from Norges Teknisk-Naturvitenskapelige Universitet – NTNU (the Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and has obtained a Master of Technology Management degree from NTNU in cooperation with the Norwegian School of Economics and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
