Name Description

Philippe Chauveau

Mr. Philippe Chauveau has been Independent Chairman of the Board of Edap Tms SA since July 1, 2004. Prior to this, he was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from 2002 and he joined the Company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board on April 8, 1997. Since 2000, he has been Chairman of the Board of SCYNEXIS Inc. He was R&D Vice-President at AT&T BELL LABS; he had been Chairman of APPLE COMPUTER Europe, preceded by increasing marketing roles in ITT and in PROCTER & GAMBLE. He has an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree and an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree, both obtained from the Trinity College.

Marc Oczachowski

Mr. Marc Oczachowski has been Chief Executive Officer and Director of Edap Tms SA since 2012. Prior to this, he served as Chief Executive Officer, President - HIFU Division and UDS Division of the Company from March 31, 2007 to 2012. In November 2004, he became Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He joined the Company in May 1997 as Area Sales Manager, based in Lyon, France. Previously, he worked for Sodem Systems, which manufactures orthopedic power tools, as Area Sales Manager. He is a graduate of Institut Commercial de Lyon, France.

Pierre Beysson

Mr. Pierre Beysson has been Independent Director of Edap Tms SA since September 27, 2002. He was then the Chief Financial Officer of Compagnie des Wagons-Lits ("CWL"), the on-board train service division of Accor. In this capacity, he sat on a number of boards of companies related to the Accor Group. He is now a mergers and acquisitions consultant. Before his assignment at CWL, Mr. Beysson held a number of senior financial positions with Nixdorf Computers, Trane (Air Conditioning), AM International (Office Equipment) and FMC (Petroleum Equipment). Mr. Beysson was trained as a CPA, has auditing experience and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.

Robrecht Michiels

Dr. Robrecht L.W. Michiels has been Independent Director of Edap Tms SA since July 16, 2009. He is a 30-year U.S. veteran of the medical device industry. He additionally serves as chief executive officer (CEO) of CardiAQ Valve Technologies, a venture funded start-up developing Transcatheter Mitral Valve Implantation. He previously served as chief operating officer (COO) of CoreValve; and as President and COO of InterVentional Technologies. He helped drive both companies from cardiovascular start-ups to established market leaders, using new and innovative technologies which have synergies to the HIFU story. He is also a director of CardiAQ Valve Technologies and of Embolization Prevention Technologies, both privately held companies. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Antwerp University (Universiteit Antwerpen) in Belgium and a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Indiana University.

Argil Wheelock

Dr. Argil J. Wheelock has been Independent Director of Edap Tms SA since June 25, 2009. He is a US board certified urologist and also serves as Chief of Urology at Erlanger Medical Center, a tertiary care and teaching hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is Chief Medical Advisor to HealthTronics Inc., a subsidiary of Endopharmaceuticals, a NASDAQ company. HealthTronics is a U.S. provider of urological services and products. From 1996 to 2005, he served as Chairman and CEO of HealthTronics, a publicly traded NASDAQ company where he was a founder. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed urological training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
