Firmino Ferreira Sampaio

Mr. Firmino Ferreira Sampaio, Neto serves as Chairman of the Board of Equatorial Energia SA. since November 4, 2015. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Executive Board and a Member of the Board of Directors of since April 2010. He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors from March 2006 to April 2010, and a Member of the Board of CEMAR since May 2004. He was Chief Executive Officer of Eletrobras from 1996 to 2001 and of Eletrobras Termonuclear from 2000 to 2001. Prior to this, he was President and Chief Financial Officer of COELBA for fourteen years from 1984 to 1997. He was also Member of the Boards of Directors of Furnas, Itaipu Binacional, CHESF, Eletrosul, Gerasul, CEMIG, ENERSUL, CEMAT and Light SA. He received a degree in Economics from Universidade Federal da Bahia and a post graduate degree in Industrial Planning from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) and SUDENE/IPEA.

Augusto Miranda da Paz

Mr. Augusto Miranda da Paz, Jr. serves as Chief Executive Officer of Equatorial Energia S.A. since November 4, 2015. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of CEMAR since April 2010. He is an economist and founding partner at Squadra Investimentos, acting as CEO and Co-CIO. He is also Board Member at Imaginarium Group. Carla Ferreira Medrado

Ms. Carla Ferreira Medrado is an Member of the Executive Board at EQUATORIAL ENERGIA S.A. She became Chief Human Resources Officer at CEMAR in August, 2010 and at CELPA in 2014, having been Human Resources Manager since July, 2008. She graduated in Business Administration with Emphasis on Foreign Trade, postgraduate in Business Competition Strategy and Human Resources Management in Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) and Executive & Personal Coach by the International Coaching Community (ICC). Tinn Freire Amado

Mr. Tinn Freire Amado is an Regulatory Affairs Officer and a Member of the Executive Board of Equatorial Energia SA since July 2006. He has served as Coordinator of the team responsible for adjusting and revising tariffs for use of electric power’s distribution systems of the Superintendent's Regulation of Distribution Services of Electric Energy's National Agency - ANEEL. He also worked at CPFL Energia. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajuba and gained a Masters in Economics from the Universidade de Brasilia.

Humberto Luis Queiroz Nogueira

Mr. Humberto Luis Queiroz Nogueira is Member of the Executive Board of the Company. Humberto Luis Queiroz Nogueira, Executive Officer - Mr. Nogueira was appointed CEMAR‘s Execuive Officer in August, 2016 and Equatorial‘s in August, 2017. Has been working within the Group since 2005, where he managed the Logistic and Suppliers Departament of Equatorial, and the Operations and SAP Project of CEMAR. Servio Santos

Mr. Servio Tulio dos Santos is Member of the Executive Board of the Company. Servio Tulio dos Santos, Executive Officer - Graduated MBA in Business Management by FGV. Has held several managerial positions in Neoenergia Distribution Companies: COELBA (1986-2001) and CELPE (2001-2005). Has been CELPA‘s Distribution Head Officer (2012-2013). Within CEMAR, has worked at the following departments: Technical (2005-06), Maintenance (2007-08), Light For All Program (2008-11), Expansion (2011-12) and Operations (2014-15).

Jose Jorge de Vasconcelos Lima

Mr. Jose Jorge de Vasconcelos Lima is Director of the Company. An economist by UCPE in 1968. Master of Science degree from UFRJ in 1971 and a graduate in Statistics from the University of Madrid, Spain - 1972. In the public life in the State of Pernambuco, held several activities: State Secretary for Education and Culture (1975-79), Housing Secretary of State (1979-82), State Secretary for Education, Culture and Sports (1991-93), and Council President of the National Education Secretaries - CONSED. As part of the Federal Administration, he was the Minister of Mines and Energy (2001-02) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrobrás, Petrobrás Distribuidora and Eletrobrás (2001-02). In the legislative, is a former Federal Deputy for the State of Pernambuco for 4 consecutive terms (1983-99). In 1998 was elected Senator of the Republic by the State of Pernambuco for the period 1999-2007. He chaired the Energy Company of Brasília - CEB and directed the CEB Distribution S/A, CEB Participações S/A, CEB Generation S/A and Gás Brasiliense Company - CEBGAS (Feb/07 to Dec/08). Appointed Minister of the Federal Audit Court on January, 2009, a position he held until November, 2014.

Carlos Piani

Mr. Carlos Augusto Leone Piani serves as Director of Equatorial Energia S.A. Prior to this, he served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Equatorial Energia SA. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer, a Member of the Executive Board, and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Company between March 2007 and April 2010. He has been Vinci Capital Gestora de Recursos Ltda’s Executive Officer since April 2010. Mr. Eduardo Saggioro is an Independent Director of Equatorial Energia S.A. since November 4, 2015. He is a founding partner of Visagio, operated for 12 years in management consulting, having rendered services to companies such as Vale, Petrobrás, Oi, Shell, Fiat, Basf, Ipiranga, Endesa, Marquise, CR Almeida, Marítima, Abril, Anglo American, Casagrande, Camargo Corrêa, Estácio, Lafarge, among others, in countries like Brazil, Canada, Italy, Australia, Indonesia, New Caledonia and Oman. He was also, for five years, professor of COPPEAD specialization courses in operations management and logistics, and co-author of two books and over 10 articles in the area. He graduated in Production Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and holds a Masters degree in Management Engineering from Polytechnic University of Turin and participates in the Chair of COPPEAD‘s Strategy and Organizational Growth.
