Name Description

Patrick Tillieux

Mr. Patrick Tillieux has been Independent Chairman of the Board at EVS BROADCAST EQUIPMENT S.A. since May 17, 2016. He has been Independent Director of the Company since November 10, 2015. He is Chairman of the Strategic Committee. He is a non-Executive Director in various companies: Euronews (France), PLAY Telecom (Poland), Ceske Radiokomunikace (Czech Republic), Towercom (Slovakia) and Brussels Airport (Belgium). Between 2012 and 2014, he served as Director & CEO of Red Bee Media Ltd. (global broadcast and media services provider, now part of Ericsson), driving and operating a strategic turnaround and a successful financial restructuring of the company. He was Chief Operating Officer and a Member of Executive Board at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG between 2007 and 2009. From 2001 to 2007, he held various executive functions within the SBS group (CEO of SBS Belgium, CEO of SBS Nederland and lastly CEO of SBS Broadcasting Europe). Before that, he occupied executive functions within different broadcasters, including Eurosport, TF1, RTL Nederland, CANAL+ Holland and CANAL+ Flanders. He holds a M. Sc. in civil engineering and a M. Sc. in industrial administration from the University of Leuven (Belgium).

Muriel De Lathouwer

Ms. Muriel De Lathouwer has been Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Member of the Executive Committee and Executive Director – Representing MucH sprl at EVS Broadcast Equipment SA since February 16, 2015. She was serving as Interim President of the Executive Committee of EVS from the departure of Joop Janssen on October 13, 2014 till February 16, 2015. She has been a Member of the EVS Board of Directors since November 2013. She is Member of the Strategic Committee and Invited to the Remuneration Committee. She started her career as IT Consultant at Accenture, before spending 7 years at McKinsey in Brussels (she was Associate Principal between 2006 and 2008, specialized in telecom, high tech and media sectors). Between 2008 and 2009, she was Chief Marketing Officer of the mobile telecom operator BASE (subsidiary of KPN). Then, before taking over her executive role at EVS in 2014, she was Managing Director (and co-founder) of an engineering consultancy firm in energy and environmental matters. She is an Engineer in Nuclear Physics (ULB, Brussels), and holds an MBA from Insead (Paris). She is a member of Women on Board (a Belgian and European network of women members of Board of Directors).

Yvan Absil

Mr. Yvan Absil has been Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and Member of the Executive Committee at EVS Broadcast Equipment S.A. since January 4, 2016. He started his career at Hewlett-Packard Company in 1995 and occupied various operational and finance functions in the group, including Finance Director for HP Belux. In 2010, he joined 21Net, a UK start-up company providing on-board train internet connectivity, as a CFO. Before joining EVS, he was Finance Director EMEAI, LATAM & Asia Pacific for Volcano Corporation, now part of Philips Healthcare, a leading company active in intravascular imaging for coronary and peripheral applications, and physiology. He holds a Master of Science in Business Management and Engineering (University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium).

Axel Blanckaert

Mr. Axel Blanckaert has been Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Member of the Executive Committee at EVS BROADCAST EQUIPMENT S.A. since April 16, 2016. He is in charge of all the EVS product development (R&D), spread over 5 development centers. He oversees the Hardware & Software development teams, the quality control, and the innovation and product management teams. He joined EVS in April 2016. Before this, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Elips, a European company delivering software and consulting services to life and pension insurance companies. Before Elips, he spent 15 years at Alcatel in different positions, including software developer and architect in Australia, and most recently Site Manager, Platform and Product Director at Alcatel-Lucent in Namur (200+ people). He is civil engineer (Communication – Electronic – Automation) from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve.

Christine Vander Heyden

Ms. Christine Vander Heyden serves as Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Member of the Executive Committee of EVS Broadcast Equipment SA. She holds a Master’s degree in social psychology and a Master in ICT, both from the University of Liege. She is also graduated in teacher education. She started her career as a teacher. From 1999 to 2001, she was researcher at the University of Liege. In 2001, she joined the HR department of Arcelor Mittal in Belgium, and moved to Techspace Aero in 2003. From 2005 to 2014, she was with Saint-Gobain, including Head of HR for the glass division in Sambreville until 2009, and Head of HR for Saint-Gobain Belgium and Luxembourg from 2009 to 2014. She joined EVS in April 2014.

Benoit Quirynen

Mr. Benoit Quirynen has been Senior Vice President, Market and Product and Member of the Executive Committee at EVS BROADCAST EQUIPMENT S.A. since August 1, 2016. Benoit served as free-lance consultant (telecom, digital services, media & e-commerce) for the last 6 years. In parallel, he co-founded dINK.eu, a small company developing apps to support sales people. Before this, he spent 19 years at Alcatel in different positions, including SW developer & architect, Project & product manager, Product launch manager, Product line director, New media & advertising Strategy Manager and Targeted Advertising Venture Director. Benoit is civil engineer (Telecom Engineer) from the University of Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium).

Nicolas Bourdon

Mr. Nicolas Bourdon has served as Senior Vice President, Marketing of Evs Broadcast Equipment SA since 2012. He earned a Business Sciences degree from HEC Liege, Belgium. He spent six years as a Communications and Marketing Manager for the aviation company Sabena Techniques in Brussels. He joined the Company as Director of Marketing and Communications in October 2005.

Marc Caeymax

Mr. Marc Caeymax has been Senior Vice President, EMEA at EVS Broadcast Equipment S.A. since February 2016. He joined EVS in 2000 as Sales manager for Spain & Portugal. In 2003 he also took the responsibility of the African market, and in 2007 he moved to Madrid to Open the EVS Iberica branch where he was acting as General Manager. In 2012 he became VP Sales, Southern Europe and Africa. Marc holds a Business Management Degree from ULG (University of Liege) and a Master of International Management from University of Santander (Spain).

Xavier De Vynck

Mr. Xavier De Vynck serves as Senior Vice President, Big Events & Business Development at EVS Broadcast Equipment S.A. He joined EVS in 2011 as VP Business development. Before joining EVS, he spent more than 20 years in the broadcast industry, starting his career in 1991 as Managing Director of Eurosound NV. In 1996, he became Regional Sales Manager, EMEA, for AAVS SA (a French systems integrator). He joined NETIA in 1998 where he held various functions until 2007 (lastly Vice-President of Business Development). He spent a year at Genesis Networks as VP of EMEA, before joining Avid in 2008 as Strategic Business Development Manager until 2011. Xavier De Vynck studied Financial Management in Belgium.

Quentin Grutman

Mr. Quentin Grutman has served as Senior Vice President, NALA at Evs Broadcast Equipment SA since 2016. He has previously been Senior Vice President, EMEA since 2010. Mr. Grutman has experience in sales within software companies, in particular at Oracle where he held various international sales management positions within the company. Prior to joining EVS, Mr. Grutman was Sales Director for Europe at Heartbeat Experts/Software since 2007. He holds a degree in General and International Management from HEC-ULG Liege and a Master in General Management (CEPAC) from Solvay Business School in Brussels.

Olivier Heurteaux

Mr. Olivier Heurteaux serves as Senior Vice President, APAC at EVS Broadcast Equipment SA. He graduated with a Master’s degree in engineering in 2000, from the SUPAERO, a top French engineering school in Toulouse. He started at EVS in 2002 as presales in Hong-Kong, for the Asia-Pacific region. Always based in Hong-Kong, he became Sales and Operations Manager for the APAC region in 2006. He takes over the full responsibility of the APAC region in February 2013.

Johan Vounckx

Mr. Johan Vounckx has been Senior Vice President, Innovation and Technology at EVS Broadcast Equipment S.A. since October 2014. Before joining EVS, he spent 8 years at Telenet, Belgian telecom company, as Manager Innovation and Business Development and Manager of the Technology Office. Before Telenet, he was R&D Engineer for Icos and Director Design Technology for IMEC. He holds a Ph.D. in electronics and a M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Leuven (KUL), and a MBA from the University of Antwerp.

Michel Counson

Mr. Michel Counson has served as Managing Director and Executive Director of EVS Broadcast Equipment SA since 1994. He was Chief Technology Officer, Founder and Member of the Executive Committee from 1994 till February 2013. He has been CTO Hardware Design of the company since it was founded in 1994. Mr. Counson graduated as Engineer from the Institut Superieur Industriel Liegeois in 1982. He started his career as Hardware Engineer with Technique Digital Video S.A. in 1983 before founding his own company, Video System Engineering S.P.R.L., in 1986 which used to work in partnership with EVS on numerous projects. The two companies merged in 2000. Within the Company, he is part of the Management Team of the EVS group and is Manager of the Hardware Department.

Martin De Prycker

Mr. Martin De Prycker has been Independent Director - Representing InnoConsult bvba at EVS BROADCAST EQUIPMENT S.A. since May 17, 2016. He has been Board Observer since November 2015. He is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Member of Strategic Committee. He is Managing Partner at Qbic Fund (an interuniversity fund supporting spin-off companies in Belgium) and Managing Director at Innoconsult (consultancy firm specialized in Innovation Management and ICT solutions). Between 2009 and 2013, he was Founder & CEO of Caliopa (a startup in silicon photonics). Between 2002 and 2009, he was CEO of Barco (display hardware and software manufacturer based in Belgium). Prior to that, he was CTO and member of the Executive Committee of Alcatel-Lucent. Before becoming CTO of Alcatel-Lucent, he was responsible for establishing Alcatel-Lucent’s worldwide market leadership in the broadband access market. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Proximus, Newtec (Belgian company designing, developing and manufacturing equipment and technologies for satellite communications), Anteryon, Track4C and Venture Spirit. Mr. De Prycker holds a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences, a M.Sc. in Electronics from the University of Ghent, as well as a MBA from the University of Antwerp.

Chantal De Vrieze

Ms. Chantal De Vrieze has been Independent Director - Representing 7 Capital sprl at EVS BROADCAST EQUIPMENT S.A. since 2017. She is CEO of Altran Belgium and Luxembourg since October 2016. She started her career in 1984 at AGFA, then Banque Van Breda, where she gained a solid background in Sales and Marketing. Between 2003 and 2015, she successively served as Sales Director, Managing Director of Econocom Benelux and a member of the Board of Directors of Econocom Group (European provider of B2B digital solutions). In June 2015, she became Country Manager of Altran Belgium (international consulting group for innovation and advanced engineering). She is graduated in law from the University of Ghent. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Axa Belgium, Guberna (Belgian Institute of Directors) and Agoria, and a member of the FEB Strategic Committee.

Patricia Langrand

Ms. Patricia Langrand has been Independent Director - Representing MMBu at EVS BROADCAST EQUIPMENT S.A. since 2017. She is currently Managing Director of her own consulting firm MMBu. She started her career with France Telecom, where she held several positions including Strategic Marketing Director. From 1996 to 1999, she was Assistant Director of Consumer Electronics, Audiovisual, Networks and Telecom for the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry. In 1999, she became Chief Digital Officer & Chief Technical Officer of Canal + Group. At the end of 2002, she joined the Executive Committee of Orange as CEO of the Group's Digital Media & Entertainment activities. From 2009 to 2015, she was Executive Vice-President of Steria Group (leading European Digital Services Company), in charge of innovation, business development, marketing and communication. She is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (X- Paris) and Telecom ParisTech. She is also a member of the National Digital Advisory Board (France).

Christian Raskin

Mr. Christian F. Raskin has served as Independent Director of EVS Broadcast Equipment SA since May 18, 2010. He was Member of the Board of Management of Draka Holding, a European cable company with positions in Belgium, the Netherlands and France. Before this, he led the fiber optics activities and the Dutch and French subsidiaries. In 1984, he co-founded Zetes Industries (now listed on Euronext Brussels). He holds a Master in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium and a Bachelor in Accounting. He is Director at Oman Cable Industries (listed on the market of Mascate) and of two private tech companies in Belgium. He is Member of the Company's Audit Committee and Member of the Remuneration Committee.

Freddy Tacheny

Mr. Freddy Tacheny has been Independent Director of EVS Broadcast Equipment SA since 2013. He is Member of the Strategic Committee of the Company. Mr. Tacheny is Managing Director of F. Tacheny SPRL (active in sport and media consulting) and Chief Executive of Zelos, active in advising stakeholders in the sport world (federations, clubs and events) and creating economic models to optimize revenues in sport. He started his career at IP (the advertising arm of RTL Belgium) in 1987, where he became successively Marketing Director, Managing Director and Chief Executive in 1999. In 2002, he became General Manager of RTL Belgium, a position he held until his departure of RTL Belgium in 2011. He holds a Master in Business Sciences (ICHEC, Brussels). He is also the Sport Chairman of the Jules Tacheny circuit in Mettet and a majority stakeholder in the SHARKS Basketball club of Antibes.

Yves Trouveroy

Mr. Yves Trouveroy has served as Independent Director of Evs Broadcast Equipment SA since 2011. He is currently Partner at E-Capital Equity Management, the management company of the private equity funds E-Capital I (1999), E-Capital II (2007) and E-Capital III (2011) that invest in Belgian small and medium-sized companies. Before 1999, he practiced as Lawyer at De Bandt, van Hecke & Lagae and then served as executive in the International Trade & Project Finance and Corporate Investment Banking departments of Generale Bank (Fortis). He holds a Law degree from the Universite Catholique de Louvain and a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University. He is Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company.

Geoffroy d'Oultremont

Mr. Geoffroy d'Oultremont has served as Vice President Investor Relations & Corporate Communication at EVS Broadcast Equipment SA since 2015. He previously was Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Manager until 2012. He holds a Master in Business Sciences from HEC Liege (Belgium). Before joining EVS in 2007, he spent four years at Banque Paribas Belgique (communication and private banking), and seven years in the financial communication team of Delhaize Group (food retailer). At the Company, Mr. d'Oultremont is in charge of financial, corporate and internal communications.
