|Mr. Philip E. Yea is Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Greene King Plc. He is Senior independent director at both Vodafone Group plc and Computacenter plc. Non-executive director of Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc and Marshall of Cambridge (Holdings) Ltd. Independent director and trustee of the Francis Crick Institute. Philip Yea’s prior executive career included roles as finance director of Diageo plc and chief executive of 3i Group plc. He has chaired a number of companies both public and private across a wide range of sectors and has been a director of UK listed companies for over 20 years.|
|Mr. Nick Mackenzie is Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Nick will be joining from Merlin Entertainments plc ('Merlin') where, as a member of the Executive Committee, he is responsible for the Midway portfolio of attractions, which comprises over 100 businesses around the world including Madame Tussauds, the London Eye and SEA LIFE aquariums. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, working first with Bass PLC and then with Allied Domecq as their Acquisitions Director before joining Burger King UK as its Development Director. Nick joined The Tussauds Group in 2002 which was subsequently acquired by Merlin in 2007 where Nick remained to head up its Property & Development Group. He became Managing Director, Resort Theme Parks in 2011 before moving across to lead the Midway business in 2015. He is also currently an independent non-executive director of Daniel Thwaites PLC, a role he will be relinquishing before taking up his executive role at Greene King.|
|Mr. Richard Smothers has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director of the Company., effective on 1 February 2018. . Richard joins from Mothercare plc where he has been Chief Financial Officer since March 2015. Previously, Richard was Director of Group Finance at Rexam plc from 2011. Prior to this, Richard spent 14 years in a number of senior finance roles at Tesco plc, including Finance Director for UK operations and Finance Director, Asia.|
|Ms. Sandra Turner is appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Company., effective 1st May 2019. Sandra has many years' experience in the consumer goods and retail sectors, including for Wilkinson Sword, Unilever and Tesco, where she was commercial director of Tesco Ireland. Sandra is also a non-executive director, senior independent director and chair of the remuneration committee of Greggs plc, non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee of Carpetright plc and non-executive director and chair of the remuneration committee of McBride plc, as well as a non-executive director of Huhtamäki Oyj.|
|Mr. Michael Andrew Coupe is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Greene King Plc. He brings knowledge and experience from working for other large, multi-site retail organisations, including Asda and Tesco.|
|Mr. Gordon Fryett is Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 1st December 2016. He has many years’ experience in retail operations and property matters having held a number of senior positions within the Tesco Group, including that of group property director until his retirement in November 2013. Gordon was also non-executive director of Severn Trent plc from 2009 until July 2016.|
|Mr. Robert O. Rowley is Senior Non-Executive Independent Director of Greene King Plc. He has extensive board experience gained as a former finance director of Reuters Group plc. He was non-executive director of Moneysupermarket.com Group plc holding the positions of chairman of the audit committee until April 2016 and senior independent director until he retired from the board in May 2017. He was also non-executive director of Morgan Advanced Materials plc until July 2017.|
|Ms. Lynne Weedall is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Greene King Plc. She brings to the board a wealth of experience of HR and organisational development gained from a variety of roles in the retail sector, including at Dixons Carphone, Whitbread and Tesco.|
