Biographies

Name Description

Per Grieg

Mr. Per Grieg, Jr. has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grieg Seafood ASA since May 20, 2009. Per Grieg Jr. has been actively involved in leading positions in Grieg Seafood ASA since the foundation in 1992, and has played a role in building the Grieg Seafood Group. He held the position as Chief Executive Officer until August 2008. He holds M.Sc. degree at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Marine Technology and a MBA from INSEAD, France. Grieg holds experience as researcher at Marintek in Trondheim, as ship broker at EA Gibson and Joachim Grieg & Co, where he also was Managing Director in the 90s and now holds the position as Chairman of the board. He has been involved in establishing a numerous companies within several sectors, and has been or is board member in companies like Fjord Seafood ASA, Marine Farms ASA, Erfjord Stamfisk AS and AON Grieg – together with several companies within The Grieg Group. Grieg also owns and manages his own investment company.

Andreas Kvame

Mr. Andreas Kvame has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at Grieg Seafood ASA, effective as of June 1, 2015. He came from the position of CEO for Scanbio held for two years. He has a 17 year long professional background from Marine Harvest Group where he participated in the top management team for many years, with responsibilities for sales, logistics, processing and integration. He has worked with change management and improvements in an international capacity in the aquaculture industry spanning many companies, including the integration of Stolt Seafarms, Panfish, Fjord Seafood and MHG. He has educational background from agriculture and aquaculture management.

Asbjorn Reinkind

Mr. Asbjorn Reinkind serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Grieg Seafood ASA. Mr. Asbjorn Reinkind has a Master in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen and has further education from IMD and Insead (AMP). He has experience from the FMCG industry and branded foods with eg. 18 years employment in Rieber & Son ASA, as Managing Director of Denja, Managing Director of Toro and 6 years as CEO of Rieber & Son ASA. Reinkind has also broad experience from the aquaculture and fish farming industry, eg. as Group Managing Director of Hydro Seafood Group (1997 - 2000), former chairman of Pieters Group, Seafarm Invest and Sjotroll Havbruk. Reinkind has also been a non-executive Board member of companies in the marine sector, eg. Fiskeriforskning, Domstein ASA and Pronova Biocare. Reinkind is currently chairman of Grilstad AS, Isbjornis AS, Deputy Chairman of Biomar Group and Board Member in Scandi Standard AB. He is also Senior Advisor in two private equity companies.

Atle Sandtorv

Mr. Atle Harald Sandtorv has been Chief Financial Officer of Grieg Seafood ASA since December 1, 2009. He no longer serves as Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective as of June 1, 2015. He has held this position since October 17, 2014. He came from the position as CFO in the subsea company Bennex. Prior to this, Sandtorv was CFO in the OSE listed transport company Tide ASA. During his 13 years in the management of Tide ASA, he was a central person in times of growth and structural changes, mergers and acquisitions that formed what today is one of Norway's transport companies. Sandtorv has got a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).

Marvin Boschman

Mr. Marvin D. (Rocky) Boschman has been Regional Director of Grieg Seafood BC Ltd. within GRIEG SEAFOOD ASA since September 16, 2016. He started as Saltwater Production Director at the beginning of 2016 until filling the position vacated by Stewart Hawthorn. Rocky Boschman has been working in BC’s salmon farming industry since 1986 and has held various management positions. He holds Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marine Biology from the University of Victoria and Master’s in Business Administration from Royal Roads University.

Grant Cumming

Mr. Grant Cumming has been Regional Director of Grieg Seafood Shetland Ltd. within GRIEG SEAFOOD ASA since December 1, 2016. He has worked in the company since 2005, where he has served as Production Manager. Grant has seventeen years of experience in salmon farming and five lecturing in aquaculture. He holds a degree in Zoology from the University of Aberdeen and a Master's in Mariculture Science from the NAFC Marine Centre.

Alexander Knudsen

Mr. Alexander Knudsen serves as Regional Director of Grieg Seafood Rogaland AS at Grieg Seafood ASA. Mr. Knudsen has been working in Grieg Seafood since 1997. He previously worked in Ovrebo Fisk AS which was bought by Grieg Seafood in 1997. He has a degree in economy and administration from Molde Universtiy College.

Roy-Tore Rikardsen

Mr. Roy-Tore Rikardsen has been Regional Director of Grieg Seafood Finnmark AS within Grieg Seafood ASA since July 2014. He has 15 years' experience from the fish farming industry. The last 6 years he has worked as 'production manager seawater' at Leroy Aurora AS (25,000 tons). He has also worked in the aquaculture technology industry (Akva Group), and the feed and nutrition industry (Ewos). He holds an 'environment and marine technology engineering' degree from the University of Tromso.

Knut Utheim

Mr. Knut Utheim has been Chief Operating Officer Farming at Grieg Seafood ASA since April 2014. He has been working in the fish farming industry since 1990, i.a. in Stolt Sea farm (1990-2005) and Marine Harvest (2005-2014). During the last 10 years Knut held the position as regional director in Marine Harvest Norway, Region Mid. Knut is a degree in aquaculture from the regional college in Sogn and Fjordande.

Kathleen Mathisen

Ms. Kathleen O. Mathisen has been Chief Human Resource Officer at GRIEG SEAFOOD ASA since May 1, 2016. Kathleen O. Mathisen has a long experience in the International Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. She has worked with HR for more than 18 years, resulting in a broad and experience within the field of HR. Kathleen O. Mathisen’s core skills include organizational development and transformation processes, and she has several years of proactive, results-oriented, diversified corporate experience with an emphasis in human resources. She has a number of management courses from UIB, BI and NHH and is presently in the process of taking an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability at the University of Cumbria in UK. In December 2013 she was awarded “Sunnivaprisen”, named after Bergen’s patron St. Sunniva.

Kristina Furnes

Ms. Kristina Furnes has been appointed Global Communications Manager at GRIEG SEAFOOD ASA, effective as of January 2, 2019. Furnes is a former communications advisor at Scandinavia’s communications agency, Geelmuyden Kiese, where she has been for over 3 years. She has worked a great deal with issues related to various parts of the seafood industry. She is a political scientist from the University of Oslo.

Karin Bing Orgland

Ms. Karin Bing Orgland has been Member of the Board of Directors at Grieg Seafood ASA since June 12, 2013. She has a Master in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen. She is a professional board member with experience from the financial sector. Orgland has a long career as manager and board member in DNB companies, the most recent being Group Director of DNB Retail until the first quarter of 2013. Orgland is Chairman of GIEK and Entur AS and board member of Storebrand ASA, KID ASA, Hav Eiendom and Grieg Seafood.

Ola Braanaas

Mr. Ola Braanaas has been Director at Grieg Seafood ASA since June 11, 2014. He is a fish farmer and agricultural college graduate, and has also studied, pedagogic, aquatic ecology, and fishery at the county colleges of Oppland and Nordland. Braanaas established the company Firda Settefisk in 1986, and is currently the sole owner and chairman of the board in the Firda Eienedom AS Group, which is a fully integrated fish farming company based at Byrknesoy in the county of Sogn og Fjordane. During the mid 90’s Braanaas was involved in establishing the company GO-Fish which was involved in fish farming at the Faroe Islands and in the counties of Troms, More og Romsdal and Sogn og Fjordane. Braanaas has held various board positions in Vestnorsk Havbrukslag, Norway Seafarms AS and Wergeland Holding AS.

Tore Holand

Mr. Tore Holand has been Director of GRIEG SEAFOOD ASA since June 12, 2018. He is educated in fishery economics, catch and aquaculture from Bodo University College. He has 30 years of experience from key positions in the aquaculture industry, the last 10 years as CEO of Midt-Norsk Havbruk AS. Holand has many years of experience as a board member and chair within the fields of smolt, cleaner fish, meal and oil, harvesting and processing, wellboat and sales, and is therefore familiar with most areas of salmon farming.

Wenche Kjolas

Ms. Wenche Kjolas has served as Member of the Board of Directors at Grieg Seafood ASA since May 2009. Wenche Kjolas has a Master in Business and Economics from Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH). She is Executive Director of Grieg Maturitas AS since 2009, and before then she was CFO of Grieg Logistics AS for 3 years (2006-2009). Kjolas' previous positions include Group director Finance of Kavli Holding AS, MD of O. Kavli AS, financial director of Kavli Holding AS, business manager of Hakon Group AS in Bergen and manager and management consultant in Deloitte. Kjolas has been a member of the board of Cermaq ASA from 2003 to 2009, and a member of the board of Selvaag Bolig ASA from 2011 to 2013.She was also Board Member of PGS ASA and DOF ASA as well as Chairman of Flytoget until 2017 She has also been a member of the general assembly of Sparebankstiftelsen DNB. Kjolas is now member of the board of Innovasjon Norge and Chairman of Keolis Norge.

Solveig Rieber Nygaard

Ms. Solveig Magdelene Rieber Nygaard has been Director of GRIEG SEAFOOD ASA since June 12, 2018. She is educated at the Norwegian College of Veterinary Medicine in Oslo. She is a specialist in fish diseases and has additional education in economy and administration. Nygaard has been working with fish health since 1985. Today she is shareholder in FoMAS and will quit as general manager in the company in 2018. Nygaard was a member of a program in the Research Council of Norway and has been active as external evaluator of projects. She has been a board member in FoMAS Ltd, Feoy Fiskeoppdrett Ltd and Slab Ltd.
