Name Description

Lothar Lanz

Mr. Lothar Lanz serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of home24 SE. With a degree in Business Administration, he comes from a financial background, beginning his career as an auditor and tax advisor in Berlin and working as a branch manager for Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechselbank Aktiengesellschaft from 1983 – 1990. Since then, he has gained experience acting on numerous Management Boards, most recently serving as Chief Financial and Operating Officer on the Management Board of Axel Springer Aktiengesellschaft.

Marc Appelhoff

Mr. Marc Appelhoff serves as Member of the Management Board for Marketing, Sales, Finance and International at home24 SE. After graduating from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management with a degree in Business Administration, he worked at private equity firm Cinven as a principal and for Boston Consulting Group as a consultant. He later co-founded Fashion for Home. Following the sale to home24, he was appointed to the Management Board of home24 where he has been instrumental in the expansion of the platform’s growth and sustainability, focusing on Marketing, Sales and Finance.

Christoph Cordes

Mr. Christoph Cordes serves as Member of the Management Board for Operations and Assortment at home24 SE. He has played an important role in the development of home24’s commercial division, managing the commercial and operations sections of the business. After co-founding the online furniture shop Fashion for Home in 2009, and bringing experience from his time working with the Adidas Group and as a consultant for Boston Consulting Group, he has been Member of the Management Board since 2016. He studied at WHU – Otto Beisheim Graduate School of Management, where he graduated with a degree in business administration.

Johannes Schaback

Mr. Johannes Schaback has been Member of the Management Board for Technology and Data at home24 SE since April 2018. He graduated in Computer Science in both Shanghai and Berlin and is an expert in software development, eCommerce and Machine Learning. In 2007, he joined Rocket Internet as a founder in residence and software engineer to contribute to online services such as Zalando, eDarling and Toptarif. After that, he co-founded Visual Meta, an online company that runs shopping platforms such as LadenZeile.de and ShopAlike in 13 countries and which was sold to Axel Springer in 2011.

Magnus Agervald

Mr. Magnus Agervald serves as Member of the Supervisory Board at home24 SE. He holds a Master in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and a Master in economics and business master from the Stockholm School of Economics. In 1999, he began his professional career as one of the founders of Icomera AB, a mobile Internet and data communications business. In 2002, he joined private equity fund IDI AB and changed to McKinsey & Company in 2002. In 2006, he joined Byggmax AB, a Swedish retailer, where he most recently served as chief operating officer. From 2016 to 2017, he held the same office at Ratos AB. In addition, he has been and is still active as an entrepreneur in various businesses.

Franco Danesi

Mr. Franco Danesi serves as Member of the Supervisory Board of home24 SE. After obtaining a degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano as well as in Business Administration from London Business School, he started his career at Ernst & Young in London. He then joined Morgan Stanley Investment to focus on investment banking and investment management. Positions at Goldman Sachs International and QINVEST followed after that. Since 2014, he has been Investment Director at Kinnevik AB, where he is responsible for overseeing portfolio companies, in particular internet related businesses.

Verena Mohaupt

Ms. Verena Mohaupt serves as Member of the Supervisory Board at home24 SE. She has experience in the investment world, having worked for Goldman Sachs as an investment banking analyst. In addition, she worked as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Co., as an investment manager with Allianz Global Capital and was one of the founders of ciao.com, a European online shopping portal. She is currently Partner at Findos Investor.

Alexander Samwer

Mr. Alexander Samwer serves as Member of the Supervisory Board of home24 SE. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford, where he studied politics, philosophy and economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he studied from 2003 to 2005. He is experienced in the field of data and technology and its application to business, having co-founded online auction company Alando.de, which was sold to eBay in 2000. He later worked as Managing Director for eBay Germany and mobile entertainment company Jamba! Together with his brothers, he founded Rocket Internet, which incubates and invests in internet and technology companies globally.

Christian Senitz

Mr. Christian Senitz is Member of the Supervisory Board of home24 SE. He is currently Senior Vice President International Finance of Rocket Internet. He started his professional career as an auditor and tax advisor with Arthur Andersen (now Ernst & Young) in Berlin and New York City. After working for FREO, he joined Rocket Internet as International Chief Financial Officer in 2012 and was later promoted to Senior Vice President of International Finance. Curently, he is in charge of the investment portfolio of Rocket Internet with respect to finance, tax and legal. He holds a degree in business law from the University of Applied Sciences Nordostniedersachen in Lueneburg (currently Leuphana Universitaet Lueneburg) and has passed both the auditor and tax advisor exams.
